• • • Whitehawk Ranch is located approximately 50 miles north of Lake Tahoe, six miles south of Graeagle, California. This residential community features a Dick Bailey-designed golf course, which winds through a quintessential Northern California rural setting. The Highlands Companies are the principal owners and managers of The Golf Club at Whitehawk Ranch. The course is one of California's premier public/resort golf courses, and has been ranked by Golf Digest as number 18 among the more than 800 courses in California. In 1998, in recognition of the developers' effort to preserve and protect the environment while creating an outstanding golf course, Whitehawk earned the prestigious California Golf Writers Environmental Award.
